Three Year Celebration of CommonGround Networking Party!

Wow! Three years of amazing support, networking, and team building which has been one of my most favorite accomplishments in Second Life. Ethelred and I have been co-hosts of this community event, but there is a whole team of supporters that make it happen every month and more join us each time around. Just so grateful and thrilled to have the opportunity to create party themes that people enjoy and create connections via colors and common experiences. Thank you all so very much!

Our party theme is “Summer of Love – Tie Dyes and Togetherness” and our theme colors are stunning rainbows and 60′s inspired hues! Dress up and join the party!

CommonGround is a monthly event that is a special community celebration which is color themed and full of energy on the first Thursday of the month from 5 to 7 PM SLT!

“hue are you?” on the Gridwide Super Hero Hunt

Yay!  I am participating in my first Second Life Hunt! It is the Gridwide Super Hero Hunt where you find all kinds of goodies for superheroes and those that do good deeds. (how perfect for me!!!)  “hue are you?” has awesome jams and a short safe cape! Rah! “hue are you?” has moved to its new location in Brauni! I have been busy building my new space and filling it with colorful creations as I go. You can find artwork and holiday goodies there right now that are colorful and expressive. Please visit the shop and say hi to my koi!

Halloween at Common Ground

We had a wonderful Nonprofit Commons Halloween Party at Common Ground! Fab Boo costumes, friends, and awesome tunes spun by DJ LilTank! I continued my disco theme for costumes in Second Life by creating “Shining Star” to remind everyone that are one no matter who they are! ArminasX made my custom particle Nova to match my dress! You just can’t have enough orange on Halloween!

Colorful Expansion

“hue are you?”, my little shop, expanded a bit to make room for more art and interaction. My friend Kittie Munro helped make the space more comfy with her couch that she let me put my hand dyed hand woven “synthesis series” fabric on the pillows. These colorful pillows are available in the shop as well. Kittie and fate visited to check out the larger space; it is wonderful to have such supportive friends about!
